THE LOLA COLLECTION
The Lola Collection explores texture through Italian cashmere, silk and pure wool. Hand-knitted in Ireland, scarves, snoods and waistcoats are constructed using long fur-stitch strands to create a dense, tactile surface with the visual richness of shearling.
The palette is deliberately restrained. Worked almost entirely in ecru, colour recedes and the qualities of the natural fibres become the focus: softness, depth, shadow, movement and touch.
Cashmere and silk introduce exceptional softness while pure Italian wool provides body and structure. Together they create a sculptural knitted textile that feels substantial without the rigidity of conventional outerwear.
The Lola Waistcoat brings this material language into clothing, creating a textural layer that can be worn over tailoring, dresses or fine knitwear. The Lola Scarf and Snood concentrate the same surface into accessories that bring softness and volume close to the body.
Each Lola piece is hand-knitted in Ireland in limited quantities from natural cashmere, silk and wool yarns. It offers a contemporary textile interpretation of the depth and tactile character associated with shearling - expressed instead through fibre, stitch and the hand of the maker.

Contemporary Knitwear, Made by Hand in Ireland
ASME is an independent knitwear studio creating hand-knitted scarves, accessories and statement pieces from exceptional Italian yarns. Cashmere, silk, silk bouclé and premium wool are selected for their handle, colour and ability to create extraordinary texture.
At the centre of the collection is ASME’s signature fur-stitch - a labour-intensive technique used to build dense, sculptural surfaces entirely through yarn. Across the Fraggle, Sugar, Lola, Põma Põma and Noble Fraggle collections, that textural language shifts from pure Italian wool and saturated colour to brushed cashmere, silk, macramé, fringing and art-inspired compositions.
Scarves sit alongside knitted snoods, gilets, capes, hats and accessories, each made slowly and in deliberately limited quantities. Some pieces are produced in small editions; others are inherently limited by the availability of rare Italian yarns.
Founded on more than two decades of experience in luxury knitwear design, ASME brings the precision of fashion together with the individuality of hand craft. Every piece is made in Ireland with an emphasis on natural materials, exceptional texture and a more considered approach to production.
