PÕMA PÕMA COLLECTION
The Põma Põma Collection explores movement through luxury fringed triangle scarves handcrafted in Ireland from cashmere, silk and pure Italian wool.
Each scarf begins with a macramé base. Crocheted tassel pom-poms are worked into the structure before long, dense fringing is added by hand. The result is a highly tactile surface that changes constantly with movement - fringe falling, separating and reforming around the body.
Available in icy pastel mint, red and tonal ecru, each colour gives the construction a different character. Red intensifies the silhouette; icy mint brings an unexpected lightness; ecru strips the piece back to texture, shadow and form.
The triangular shape allows Põma Põma to be wrapped, draped and tied in different ways, moving between a luxury scarf and a small piece of wearable textile sculpture.
Every Põma Põma is handcrafted in Ireland in limited quantities from a natural-fibre blend of cashmere, silk and Italian wool. Macramé, crochet and hand-finishing bring traditional craft processes into a contemporary fashion context.
It is a piece defined as much by movement as by material.

Contemporary Knitwear, Made by Hand in Ireland
ASME is an independent knitwear studio creating hand-knitted scarves, accessories and statement pieces from exceptional Italian yarns. Cashmere, silk, silk bouclé and premium wool are selected for their handle, colour and ability to create extraordinary texture.
At the centre of the collection is ASME’s signature fur-stitch - a labour-intensive technique used to build dense, sculptural surfaces entirely through yarn. Across the Fraggle, Sugar, Lola, Põma Põma and Noble Fraggle collections, that textural language shifts from pure Italian wool and saturated colour to brushed cashmere, silk, macramé, fringing and art-inspired compositions.
Scarves sit alongside knitted snoods, gilets, capes, hats and accessories, each made slowly and in deliberately limited quantities. Some pieces are produced in small editions; others are inherently limited by the availability of rare Italian yarns.
Founded on more than two decades of experience in luxury knitwear design, ASME brings the precision of fashion together with the individuality of hand craft. Every piece is made in Ireland with an emphasis on natural materials, exceptional texture and a more considered approach to production.
